Feb 26

Yoga Workout for the Cure
10:00am-11:30am
Led by Dr. Linda Alexander . Come enjoy an all
levels yoga class and help out a wonderful cause at the same
time. If you can't make the class and would like to donate, please
make the checks payable to Linda Alexander and she will give you a
receipt for your taxes from the CT Komen Foundation. All funds
collected will go directly to the Komen Foundation. $10
Minimum suggested donation. Please call to register for the class. |

March 1 -
Core Power
7:45pm-8:30pm
A six week class led by Suzanne Manafort that will help
you to discover and strengthen your core. What is your core? Your
abdominals as well as your back muscles. This is a balanced
practice that will change how you move in your body. |

March 2 -
Intro to Ashtanga
7:30pm-8:30pm
Come learn the foundation of a truly transforming yoga
practice. Ashtanga is powerful and fun. The practice will help you
to become stronger, more flexible and balanced. Come discover the
strength and beauty of you! $63.60 w/tax. |

March 4 - Mom & Tots Yoga
11:00am-12:00pm
Six week series. You've been meaning to get to a yoga class, but
the kids are still a little young - well bring them and have some
fun with other moms and tots. It's great to start young. For
children 2-5 years old. |

March 6 - Is the Golf Course
open yet?
11:00am-12:30pm
Okay all you golfers - Spring is almost here and you will be out on
that course soon. Come learn some postures and breathing techniques
that might help you to stay in the moment. All ages welcome.

April 2 - Power Flow
9:45am-10:45am
Six week series. Come learn the basics of Power flow yoga - you
will sweat, you will find your edge, and you will laugh and have
fun. Taught by Bette Yanke RYT |

April 9 - The Eight Silken
Movements
1:00pm-2:00pm
The Eight Silken Movements (also called Pal Gum) are a Taoist yogic
(energy) practice. It is a gentle
energy building practice that takes 10-15 minutes each day. A
practice of moving the bodies energy to recharge the organs, purify
the psychic channels and organ meridians. A very gentle way to
improve health and increase awareness. We are so pleased to host
gifted energy worker Karen Hawkins. If you have ever been curious
about how energy moves through the body than this class is for you.
Karen will discuss the meridians where and how we get blocked and
why. $10.60 |

Christine Hoar Workshop
Weekend workshop with Christine Hoar -
Christine was recently authorized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois
and the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India as
an Ashtanga yoga teacher. She is a wonderful teacher full
of compassion and fun and a deep respect for the system,
its lineage and you. $106 w/tax for all three sessions or
$42.40 per session. Let's fill the studio! |
